Arrival from the airport to the Congress venue Prague Ruzyne Airport, the largest international airport in the Czech Republic, is located about 12 kilometers (8 miles) northwest from the center of Prague. The airport has no metro or train connection with the city center and is only served by buses and taxis, which are easily accessible.
By Taxi A taxi should not cost more than 600 CZK, which is about 24 Euro. By Bus Three local buses connect the airport to metro stations. No. 119 goes to Metro Dejvicka (green line A) No. 108 goes to Metro Hradcanska (green line A) No. 179 goes to Metro Nove Butovice (yellow line B) Local buses run between 5.00 and 24.00, approximately every 20 minutes and cost about 10 CZK.
There is also a relatively cheap airport bus which will get you to Namesti Republiky in the city center. These buses run roughly every half hour during the daytime.

Opening Plenary Session The opening plenary session starts on Thursday, October 8 at 17:00.
Welcome Reception All registered participants and registered accompanying persons are invited to the Welcome Reception, which will take place following the Opening Session on Thursday, October 8 at about 19:00. Invitations are included in the personal registration kit. Additional tickets for guests may be purchased at the registration desk.
Lunches Buffet lunch will be served for participants of the congress in the Exhibition Area on Friday, October 9, 13:00-14:00 and Saturday, October 10, 13:00-14:00.
Invited Speakers Presentations Speakers are requested to visit the preview room prior to their lecture and upload their presentation, no later than one break prior to the session in which they are scheduled.
Poster Presentations Please check the Scientific Program for the day of your presentation. Posters should be mounted either on the evening prior to your presentation day or between 07:00-07:30 on the day of your presentation. Posters must be removed by the end of the sessions on the same day.
Guided Poster Tours Poster presentations have been scheduled over the 2 full days of the Congress (Friday, October 9th and Saturday, October 10th). Guided Poster Tours will be conducted on each of these mornings from 07:30-08:30 for poster viewing. All poster authors are expected to be present near their posters on the day they are scheduled for the hour-long tour. All registered participants are invited to join the tour! Refreshments will be served during the tours.
CME Accreditation Please note once on-site that you have you CME Accreditation form in your kit. In order to receive your accreditation points, please submit the completed form to the registration desk before the end of the congress. Your CME Accreditation Certificate will be send to you directly.

Visas Some participants may require a visa in order to enter the Czech Republic. Please check with your local Czech Consulate or Embassy.
Currency, banks and money exchange The official currency of the Czech Republic is the Czech crown (koruna), abbreviated as Kč, with the international abbreviation CZK. The approximate value of 100 CZK is 4 EUR/5 USD, although part of the EU the Euro is not widely used and it is recommended to have CZK available.

Climate October offers beautiful weather in Prague. Temperatures range from (10-14°C/48-57°F) with a mixture of rainy and sunny days.
