Dear Participant,

We are looking forward to welcoming you at the 1st International Congress on Controversies in Primary and Outpatient Care (COPOC), 20-22 May, 2015 at the Dan Panorama Hotel in Tel Aviv, Israel. In preparation for this upcoming Congress we would like to provide you with the below information for your perusal before travelling to join us at COPOC!

Arrival from the Airport to the Congress Venue
Ben-Gurion Airport is located 20km from downtown Tel Aviv.

Taxis are available outside the arrival hall. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes depending on traffic and costs approximately 170-200 NIS (40-50 EUROS). Please use local currency

Trains reach Tel Aviv's central train station (MerkazSalvidor) in about 20 min. From the central train station take bus no. 10 which runs past the Dan Panorama Hotel.
From Sun-Thurs, the trains leave about every 20 minutes (from 5:30-00:00) and every hour during the late hours (1:30-5:30). On Friday evening and Saturday there are no trains to the airport.

A train ticket to Tel Aviv central train station will cost you 13 NIS.
Bus fare from the Tel Aviv central train station will cost 6.90 NIS.

Please register upon arrival in order to receive your kit containing the COPOC Congress Program Book and your personal name tag. Please remember to wear your name tag to all Congress activities and social events.

Welcome Reception
All registered participants and registered accompanying persons are invited to the Welcome Reception, which will take place on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 18:15-19:15.
A buffet lunch will be served for participants of the Congress on Wednesday, May 20, 2015, 12:30-13:30 and Thursday, May 21, 2015, 12:30-13:30.
Poster Presentation
Poster presenters should plan to be beside their posters during the designatedcoffee breaks, as specified in the program. Please see the poster list for board allocation at the Congress. Posters should be mounted on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 09:00 and removed by 12:00 on Friday, May 22, 2015. The Organizing Committee is not responsible for posters that are not removed on time.

CME Accreditation
Please note that you have your CME Accreditation feedback forms in your Congress Kit. In order to receive your accreditation points, please submit the completed feedback form to the Registration Desk before the end of the Congress. Your certificate will be sent to you directly.

EACCME - Upon receiving the Certificate from the COPOC Congress Secretariat for CME points. Participants must contact their own national accreditation organization to receive the points. UEMS gives recommendation of up to how many points the Congress is worth but it is up to the participants’ national accreditation organization to decide exactly how many they will get.

Currency Exchange
The unit of currency is the New Israeli Shekel (NIS)

Automated teller machines (ATMs, cashpoints) are common in Tel Aviv. Virtually all of them offer instructions in English, Russian and Arabic and will pay out Turkish liras when you insert your bank debit (cash) card. ATMs will also pay cash advances on Visa and MasterCard.

There are 24-hour exchange bureau in the arrivals hall at Ben Gurion International Airport that offer rates comparable to those offered by bureau in the city. US dollars and euros are easily changed at exchange bureau.

The temparature in Tel Aviv in May reaches daily highs increasing from 26°C to 29°C over the course of the month, exceeding 33°C or dropping below 22°C only one day in ten.

Israel operates on 220 volts, 50 Hz, with round-prong European-style plugs that fit into recessed wall sockets /points.
The Congress Secretariat and Organizers cannot accept liability for personal accidents, nor loss of or damage to private property of participants, either during or directly arising from the COPOC. Participants should make their own arrangements with respect to health and travel insurance.
